Dingwall Community Centre is run by an independent Registered Charity (No. SC021857) We are based in Dingwall, next to St Clements School on Tulloch Street. You can find a map of where to find us on the Contact Page.
The building we occupy is owned by Highland Council, but independently run by a Managment Committee of local people, on behalf of the charity.
We aim to provide a friendly, welcoming environment in which to facilitate community development and citizenship and through the provision of social, recreational and educational activities without distinction of political or religious opinions for the benefit of the whole community.
Photographs of the centre are available to view in the Room and Hire Rates section of this webpage.
Membership to the Centre is free and open to anyone who satisfies one or more of the following criteria: -
a) Any person aged 16 and over living within Dingwall and the surrounding area (the Community) who supports the purpose of the Centre.
b) Any individual who attends or leads a class or group at the Centre.
As a member you will be able to help direct the future of the Centre by serving on the Magangement Committee (if receving sufficient votes from fellow members in accordance with the Centre Constitution and satisfying the criteria to be a Charity trustee), vote at any AGM or EGM and get involved in planned activities.
