Whether your sketchbook is finished or not yet begun, this coffee morning is for you
The Sketch Coffee Club mornings are monthly relaxed meet-ups designed for the casual or professional artist alike.
Headed by Catriona MacKenzie, who is an artist with vast experience and knowledge both as a fine artist and as a designer/craftsmaker, the sessions will be a fun way to learn techniques; play within your sketchbooks; get support from your peers and discuss themes to develop.
📒 Chat to discuss themes and creation of still life/objects to sketch. This can be broad and loose.
✍️ Time to draw over coffee/tea with our picked theme while gaining advice from Catriona. However, this is not a taught class.
🎨 Peer Advice Break to discuss each other’s sketches as peer support can really help with ideas for taking drawings forward, especially in sketches for a final artwork or for design. Next month’s theme may be decided here for objects to be brought.
✏️ More sketching to finish off if time allows.
Standard Ticket: £10.00
Pay What You Can: £2 (or what you can)
