Rooms for Hire

There are four rooms available for hire - all with tables, chairs and tea/coffee making facilities.

Main Hall

This room is on the first floor and is the largest room. It is an open, light filled space with windows on three sides and a small kitchen area and large counter space. Ideal for dance, exercise and relaxation classes, large presentations or large craft/game groups seated at tables.

Dimensions: 9 x 7.5m - Only accessible via stairs

Capacity: Standing - 115, Seated - 58

Games Room

This is on the first floor with large windows along the length of one wall and work top with sink area. Ideal for dance, exercise and relaxation classes, presentations and large meetings or craft/game groups seated at tables.

Dimensions: 6.7 x 6m - Only accessable via stairs

Capacity: Standing - 60 Seated - 33

Coffee Room

This is on the ground floor with windows on two sides and a working kitchen, complete with fridge, hob and oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Dimensions: 4.5 x 6m - Fully accessable

Capacity: Standing - 40, Seated - 20

Wee End Room

The smallest room, affectionately known as the Wee End Room is on the ground floor with windows on two sides and a kitchen area at one end. This room is best suited to small meetings, interviews or one to one consultations.

Dimensions: 7.4 x 2.7m - Fully accessable

Occupancy: Standing - 20, Seated - 10

£11.00 per hour Community Rate

£13.00 per hour Semi-Commercial Rate

£16.50 per hour Commercial Rate

Wee End Room

£8.00 per hour Community Rate

£9.00 per hour Semi-Commercial Rate

£11.00 per hour Commercial Rate

Definition of rate bands:

Community - Regular users for sporting, social, political and religious activities and meetings, instruction and fund-raising events on a not-for-profit basis where fees go to the voluntary sector.

Semi-commercial - Regular users for activities of educational, instructional, guidance or sporting content where the instructor/leader retains the income.

Commercial - General rate for any one off hire or block bookings by individuals or organisations of a commercial nature, government bodies/agencies for any activity including instruction, meetings, exhibitions, retail, social and spectator events.

All rates are per hour and will be rounded up to the nearest half hour. Minimum hire is one hour.

All rooms have white boards, free wi-fi, and tea and coffee making facilities (just bring your own groceries). We also have flip chart stands and can supply pads if required.

We have T&Cs for both regular or children's party hire available on request. Please drop us a line or call and we will email them to you.

Booking Form

Please contact the Community Centre to enquire about room availability for the date/s and times that you wish to book.

Booking forms will be emailed directly to you from the office. Please ensure the form is completed and sent back to us and confirmation has been received to complete your booking.
